<p><a href="http://www.towerrecords.co.uk/index.html">Here at the Tribute to Tower Records website</a> we are proud to pay homage to Tower Records. <a href="http://pinkfloydarchives.com/DTower.htm">Tower Records was a chain of retail stores</a> selling music, originally located solely in Sacramento, in California. Currently the international franchise has been scaled down and exists as an online music store.</p>
<p> Between 1960 and 2006, Tower Records had retail outlets all over the world, but eventually they had to file for bankruptcy and be liquidated. The website and online shop Tower.com was taken over and has not been affected by the closing of the retails stores.
