<div><br/>Electoral Reform International Services (ERIS), a company limited by guarantee and founded in 1992, is a leading provider of specialist electoral and democratisation assistance.<br/><br/>ERIS provides professional advice and technical assistance to electoral commissions, governments and non-governmental organisations, in developing countries and emerging democracies around the world.<br/><br/><span style="font-style: italic;">We have a vision of a future in which citizens everywhere can exercise their rights and fulfil their potential in conditions of political, social and economic freedom. To that end, ERIS is committed to providing assistance and advice of the highest quality through partnerships with those who are involved in building democracy.</span><br/><br/>ERIS is a signatory to both the Declaration of Principles for International Election Observation and the associated Code of Conduct for International Election Observation Missions, which were commemorated on 27 October 2005 at the United Nations in New York.<br/><span style="font-weight: bold;"></span><br/><span style="font-weight: bold;">ERIS and ERS</span><br/><br/>ERIS is an autonomous division of the <a href="http://www.electoral-reform.org.uk/">Electoral Reform Society</a> (ERS). Founded in 1884, the Electoral Reform Society is the world's oldest institution dedicated to the study of electoral systems. It advises on electoral issues, conducts voter education programmes, campaigns for electoral reform and is the umbrella body for several offshoot election-related initiatives.<br/><br/>Also under the ERS umbrella, <a href="http://www.erbs.co.uk/">Electoral Reform Services </a>is the world's leading independent supplier of ballots and election services from registration through to announcing results. It has consultative status at the UN, substantial experience in e-voting, telephone and SMS voting, and helps over 1,000 organisations hold ballots each year.<br/><br/>Also within ERS, the<a href="http://www.mcdougall.org.uk/"> McDougall Trust </a>is an independent charity whose principal objective is to advance the knowledge of elections, voting systems and representative democracy through extensive research. The Trust publishes a periodical entitled Representation: The Journal of Representative Democracy and also maintains and develops the Lakeman Library for Electoral Studies.<font size="3"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><br/></span></font></div>
